Connecting to your computer or retail store and they may transfer them
If you've got an old handset that doesn't have a sim card (Telus/Virgin/Bell), what's the easiest way to move your contacts from an old handset to your new one?
I HATE having to re-enter all of my contacts when I upgrade my phone...![]()

Is this a service that's advertised? I've never seen it and the fact that most phones don't include data cables makes the issue even more annoying.
I wonder if moving from an LG to a Samsung phone would even make a difference, since the way that contacts are organized may be different. I'm thinking this might be an issue since even between Outlook and Windows Live Mail there is a difference in the way that contacts / Windows Address Book are organized.
Just grasping at straws here, but does your current phone sync with Gmail and contacts? Are all your contacts available to you at the gmail.com website? If so, they will sync automatically when you configure your new phone for gmail.
That's all I have. If this is not your setup, i'm sure others will have better ideas.
In these old models there is nothing that you can do, SIT AND TYPE ALL OF THEM.
